Galvan – Gli Alberi
I had the privilege of working on a deeply personal project for a friend: the editorial design of a genealogy book dedicated to the Galvan family, an ancient lineage rooted in the Vicenza and Veneto region. The historical research was carried out over the course of a year by writer Elisa Geremia, and I brought her words to life through a refined visual and physical design.

The oak leaf—a symbol of strength, resilience, and longevity—became the key visual element representing the Galvan identity. This motif literally wraps the book in a movable, unfolding cover, which opens to reveal a hand-crafted family tree. The tree structure was designed starting from the shape of a cut wooden stump, extending outward to the current generation, represented as the outer ring.

This project blends editorial design, visual storytelling, and heritage communication, creating a meaningful object that preserves a family’s roots through a thoughtful and symbolic design language.

Catalogue design for Frezza, italian brand leader in office furniture made in Italy, Francesca Tosin has developed in collaboration with Studio Burger, based on a structured and highly readable editorial concept.
The publication is divided into five sections, each identified by a distinct color to highlight different features of the office furniture collection.

Each chapter opens with a threshold effect, introducing the products of that area through a visual transition that guides the reader and presents the upcoming items in a cohesive, intuitive way.

This approach creates a functional, contemporary, and strongly branded catalogue, enhancing Frezza’s product storytelling through clear segmentation and a refined editorial language.

As part of the Change design team, I worked on a new-media interior project for Vionnet, the historic Parisian haute-couture maison. Fracesca Tosin work began with a study of the brand’s heritage, original hand-drawn logos, and early fashion sketches, exploring the visual language created by Madame Vionnet.

From this research, I developed two custom wallpapers printed on metallic film, designed to wrap the elevator walls of the brand’s upcoming luxury store in Paris.
In parallel, I digitized an original Vionnet drawing and transformed it into a large backlit hand-painted window, bringing the maison’s artisanal legacy into a contemporary architectural feature.

The result is a project that blends fashion heritage, craftsmanship, and interior storytelling, reconnecting the Parisian store environment with the historic visual DNA of Vionnet.

Bespoke wedding invitation designed and crafted by Francesca Tosin for a wonderful couple of friends. The project features a hand-drawn ID-portrait of the couple, enriched with symbolic elements that reflect their personality and story. These illustrations shaped the visual language of the celebration. Printed on premium Favini paper, chosen for its natural texture and sustainable quality, the invitation carries a warm, artisanal character. Handwritten text completes the design, echoing the intimate atmosphere of a rustic house ceremony where home-grown vegetables were the heart of the banquet.
