Pirelli PZero
To expand the market and product field of Pirelli PZero, a strategic decision was made to link the brand’s core material, rubber, to industries beyond automotive, targeting mountain sports. The rubber for snowboard boots was developed using Pirelli’s expertise in collaboration with Burton, ensuring high performance and durability.
The accompanying snowboard was crafted in carbon fiber and featured a graphic intentionally inspired by the Lotus 1 racing car, merging technical innovation with a bold design aesthetic. This project demonstrated how Pirelli PZero’s core know-how can be successfully translated into new sports markets, creating innovative products with strong visual and functional impact.

Foscarini
Designed at Change Design for Foscarini, this project focused on creating a spherical textile lamp with no internal structure. The challenge was to make the embroidered thread structurally supportive, maintaining the perfect sphericity of the lampshade.
Francesca Tosin worked on developing a special thread that could change its state during production, becoming self-supporting in the final phase. This innovation allowed the lamp to achieve its volumetric perfection while creating a decorative surface that is technologically organic, merging craft, material experimentation, and advanced textile design.
